What Was YOUR First YouTube Video?

Today marks the 13th anniversary of the first-ever YouTube video getting posted.
Wait, what?
It feels like YouTube has been around FOREVER.  Longer than 13 years!

So what WAS the first video ever posted to YouTube?  Let’s take a look.

Yep, that’s it,  an 18-second clip of one of the co-founders standing in front of an elephant
pen at the San Diego Zoo. Fittingly, it’s called “Me at the Zoo”
I know – riveting, but imagine being one of the founders and making the mad cash
less than two years later when Google bought YouTube for $1.65 billion  in  2006.

The most-watched video of all time  would be the Despacito video with over 5 billion hits.
The most disliked YouTube video of all time,  meaning  that it has the most ‘thumbs-down’ votes,
goes to the music video for Baby by Justin Bieber. It has 8.9 million dislikes. HAH!
