Nail Yakupov’s Brilliant Skate Pass Helps End Pointless Streak

Former Sting forward Nail Yakupov has struggled during his time with the St. Louis Blues. After playing his last 16 games without a point, the streak came to an end last night with a brilliant assist…using his skate!

That was his first point since scoring a goal on December 15, 2016 vs. the New Jersey Devils.

With that assist, Yakupov now has just 7 points (3 goals, 4 assists) in his 36 games with the Blues this season. Here’s hoping that the highlight-reel assist from last night will give him that much needed spark to start providing some more points.
