In 1977, Peter Frampton peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 Album Chart with “I’m in You”; Frampton’s first album since Frampton Comes Alive! The album spent four weeks at number two behind Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours”.

In 1976, The Allman Brothers Band split up due to increasing differences within the band. They later reunited in 1978 & split up again in 1982 before reuniting for good in 1989.

In 1966, Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce & Eric Clapton formed Cream; considered by many to be the original “power trio”.
