In 1978 Rod Stewart’s “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” reached number one on the U.K. Singles Chart and stayed for one week on top, making it Stewart’s fifth time at number one.


In 1982 The music video for Def Leppard’s song “Photograph” was filmed in Battersea, London. This video was the video debut of guitarist Phil Collen.

In 2003 Alice Cooper received a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.

In 2012 Led Zeppelin were recipients at the Kennedy Center Honors for their lifetime of contributions to American culture.
