1964: The Beatles released “Introducing… The Beatles”, their first album, in the U.S. This album later would go on to peak at number two on the Billboard 200 Album Chart.

1981: Heart earned their second top ten single with their cover of Aaron Neville’s “Tell It Like It Is” which peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

1978: The Sex Pistols made their television debut in the U.S. on the program Variety.
