1958: Gibson guitars launched it’s ‘Flying V’ electric guitar.

1968: The Beatles started an eight week run at number one on the U.S. Album Chart with “Magical Mystery Tour”, the group’s eleventh U.S. number one.

1975: Pink Floyd began recording their “Wish You Were Here” album with Abbey Road Studios in London, England.

1975: A Led Zeppelin concert held at Boston Garden was cancelled by Boston’s mayor due to fans rioting while waiting for tickets to go on sale for an upcoming concert and caused over $30 000 in damage.
