In 1975, David Bowie announced that he was retiring for the second time. Bowie was quoted saying “I’ve rocked my roll. It’s a boring dead end for me, there will be no more rock n’ roll records from me.”

In 1971, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s live album “4 Way Street” was certified Gold & later went on to sell four million copies in the U.S.
