In 1994, Billy Joel and Elton John kicked off their Face 2 Face tour at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia. They would tour with each other again in 1995, 1998, 2003 & 2009 and have been labeled by many as the most successful touring package of all time.

In 1989, Tom Petty peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 Album Chart with his first solo album “Full Moon Fever”.
