In 1973  “Dream On” by Aerosmith peaked at number fifty nine on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. Later, after being reissued two and a half years later as a single, it reached number six.

In 1980 The Talking Heads begin their tour of the U.K. at London’s Hammersmith Odeon with support from U2.

In 1984 Billy Squier made his first and only appearance as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live.

In 1993 Pink Floyd announced their 1994 world tour at a press conference. It ended up being the band’s last tour.
