Justin Kea, Michael Fine and Vincent Trocheck scored for the Spirit while Reid Boucher scored the lone goal for the Sting.

Sting goalie JP Anderson left the game in the 2nd period after taking a shot off the mask. Brandon Hope came into the game and allowed 2 goals on 17 shots.

The 20 year old played 68 games for the Batallion this season scoring 37 goals and 67 points.
