01/24/2020 – Update: We DID it @! Sarnia , Ontario and Augusta, Australia have
just partnered up, and thrown down bread – to make our VERY OWN EARTH SANDWICH!
This calls for a tasty refreshment -over at the Refined Fool!
*that’ll be a pint of their Aussie Pouch Envy  for me!*

So Ted Edgar – You’re my new hero.
Sincerely,|
McNeill.  – ok so here’s the original story that led to this glorious achievement:

01/23/2020 –
For the first time in recorded history, the Earth has been made into a sandwich
– with photographic proof! That’s right – our very own bright blue marble, floating
in space, in orbit around the star, Sol. The home to every human being that has
ever lived, loved  fought, struggled, conquered and died -has been slapped between
two pieces of bread on opposite sides – and made into a planetary sandwich.

So how did we do it?

A guy in New Zealand teamed up with a guy on the direct opposite side of
the world in Spain and they both put pieces of bread on the ground – and took
pictures – to make an “Earth sandwich”. That’s 12 thousand kilometers of Earthy
ingredients between two pieces of bread.

To make a sandwich of our own from Sarnia Ontario, we first musto find our
antipode. An antipode, or antipodal point, is the point on the planet that is
located diametrically opposite to a specific geographic location, and therefore,
is the farthest point in the world from that location. Sarnia’s antipodal point is
Augusta, Western Australia, which you can see HERE

Historians may argue that Earth sandwiches may already have been accidentally
made many times throughout unrecorded history by sheer accident,  like when two
people on opposite sides of the world, say, drop a piece of bread by utter coincidence,
butter side down at the very same time… it certainly falls into the realm of possibility.

However,  this recorded attempt – marks a first in RECORDED history – a partnership
between private citizens in Spain and New Zealand- pioneers you could even call them –
in turning our planet into a sandwich, with photographic proof.

You can witness this historical event….. HERE.
